I am a Nursing PhD Candidate at Duke University conducting research in symptom science and neurological symptoms in adults with multiple sclerosis.

I am an NINR F31 Fellow, and a Jonas Veterans Healthcare Scholar, with a Certificate in Cognitive Neuroscience (complete) and Certificate in College Teaching (pending completion).

My first undergraduate degree is from New College of Florida (BA in the Natural Sciences), my second is from East Carolina University (Bachelor of Science in Nursing).

I have worked as a Clinical Research Nurse Specialist in Neurosurgery, and served on an Institutional Review Board. I am a mother, a returned U.S. Peace Corps Volunteer, and play the French horn.
