Vision

To be an expert in the field of symptom science, clinical outcomes assessment, neurological symptoms, cognitive and affective symptoms, genetics/genomics, personalized/precision medicine, patient/provider communication, interoception, secondary data analysis, big data, research ethics, and biostatistics. To be able to incorporate data from patients, providers, observers, laboratory findings, imaging, and other biomarkers to gain a more complete, wholistic view for each individual. To conduct my own research, while also teaching and mentoring others on how to incorporate patient reported outcomes and personalized/precision medicine into their research and bedside care. To work towards improving the wellbeing of others.

Mission

To learn and grow as much as possible as a person and a nurse scientist. To always do my best to maintain the highest quality in all I do, and never give up.
